Ten years ago today, we officially flipped on the lights for the first time at Improvised Communications and got down to the business of promoting independent creative improvised music.

A milestone like this comes with a lot of memories, a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of disbelief that a decade can fly by so quickly, but most importantly we’d like to express our gratitude to all the clients who have trusted us to represent them over the years and all the press and radio contacts who have supported them and their music.

It is a privilege to have a career in the jazz industry in 2012, not to mention an established brand name that’s become synonymous with the forward-looking music we’ve put our hearts and souls into promoting, and we greatly appreciate the efforts of everyone that helped make our first decade of business a reality.
